KUALA LUMPUR: The nation’s small and medium enterprises have been hard hit by the pandemic as they struggle with strapped cash flow and flagging business.
Among the best way for them to recover is to embrace digitalisation that can help expand their client base and open up a new revenue stream.

Industry experts and leaders such as Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Bhd (CGC) chief corporate officer Rahim Raduan, Maxis Business SME head Kevin Lee, PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd chief marketing officer Kuan Eu Jin and RHB Bank Bhd chief digital officer Dev Raaj Shanmugam will weigh in on the areas for discussion in a panel moderated by Pikom councillor Stan Singh.
Rahim, who is responsible for CGC’s overall strategic initiatives and for overseeing key functions, has over 21 years of working experience across various sectors with extensive experience in corporate strategy, business transformation and financial management.
With 20 years of experience in the banking and IT and telecommunications industries, Maxis’ Lee has worked across different geographies and leads a team of passionate individuals who focus on driving segment propositions, developing go-to-market strategies and transforming business-to-business sales channels.
PKT Logistics Group’s Kuan, who is in charge of its business development, has over two decades of experience in logistics and industry development.
He leads a highly motivated and dedicated team in exploring new ventures for the group, such as cold logistics, e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods and port logistics.
RHB Bank’s Dev Raaj has close to three decades of experience in banking, particularly in the area of operations, electronic banking and product management. He currently leads the digital transformation initiatives for the group, with his current responsibilities including managing all aspects of digital transformation and overseeing the full spectrum of digital strategy.
George Lee, the chief executive officer of Innov8tif Solutions Sdn Bhd, SOBA 2020’s platinum winner for best in innovation under the up to RM25mil turnover tier, will share the company’s experience on the digitalisation journey.
Under his leadership, Innov8tif Solutions has progressed from a self-funded enterprise software technology start-up into a sustainable business that expanded its footprint from its home ground in Kuala Lumpur to Indonesia, Singapore and across South-East Asia.
