KUALA LUMPUR: The upcoming Asia Consumer Sourcing Expo Malaysia 2025 (CSEA Malaysia 2025) will serve as a premier platform for Malaysian businesses to foster partnerships with leading Asian manufacturers and suppliers.
Organised by Sanz Expo and Hong Kong Global Exhibition & Conference, CSEA Malaysia 2025 will take place from Nov 30 to Dec 2 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre. The representative office for Malaysia is Artisense Group.
CSEA Malaysia 2025 marks the nation's first large-scale business-to-business (B2B) consumer sourcing platform that connects international manufacturers with regional buyers. It is expected to gather about 10,000 trade buyers and visitors, with over 200 international exhibitors showcasing more than 3,000 innovative consumer products from four key categories.
Artisense director Sheena Lai said the expo will benefit businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in expanding beyond Malaysian shores.
"This initiative supports Malaysia's broader vision of positioning itself as a dynamic regional hub for trade, sourcing and innovation."As the appointed representative office in Malaysia, Artisense plays an important role in supporting the organiser by engaging key industry stakeholders, identifying and securing potential buyer groups, and collaborating closely with relevant trade associations.
"We aim to foster new collaborations, expand business networks and create sustainable opportunities that strengthen Malaysia's standing in the global trade landscape," said Lai.
In line with this year's Asean theme of regional collaboration and sustainable growth, the event emphasises Malaysia's growing position as a regional trade and sourcing hub, offering SMEs, retailers, wholesalers and distributors opportunities to explore new partnerships, source competitively priced products and strengthen international business networks.
SUSTAINABLE SOURCING ECOSYSTEM
The goal of CSEA Malaysia 2025 is to form a sustainable international sourcing ecosystem in Malaysia that enables SMEs and business owners to access a wide network of reputable suppliers and manufacturers in the region.
They will also be exposed to competitively priced products, without the need for intermediaries. "We are anticipating strong collaboration between Malaysian buyer groups and international exhibitors, with hundreds of business discussions, partnership signings and trade connections during the three-day event."
The expo also aims to generate meaningful business outcomes, mainly through over 100 business matching sessions. It is eyeing cross-border partnerships and co-branding initiatives that enhance Malaysia's position as a regional sourcing hub. Malaysia's consumer product industry has long depended on sourcing platforms or other intermediaries to source products overseas.Businesses often face challenges such as connecting with quality manufacturers, negotiating terms and product reliability.
"The CSEA Malaysia 2025 addresses this gap as the country's first dedicated B2B consumer sourcing exhibition. It provides a one-stop solution whereby Malaysian buyers can meet reputable manufacturers and suppliers from Asia, allowing them to source products directly, build relationships and explore new business opportunities efficiently," said the organisers.
HIGHLIGHTS
The expo will explore a wide range of consumer products in four categories: home appliances and electronics, automotive accessories and aftermarket, daily use products and gifts as well as hardware and tools.
Other activities include one-to-one business matching as well as test-drive programmes featuring vehicles from Proton Holdings Bhd, Mazda Motor Corporation, Xpeng and Lytron EV Bikes. There are also the Asean awardee showcase, workshop and sharing sessions, lucky draws and giveaways.
BACKED BY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS
The expo is supported by several well-known trade and industry associations.
Key supporting associations include the SME Association of Malaysia, Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Energy and Infrastructure Economy, The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serdang, Selangor and the Ning-bo Yinzhou International Automobile Parts Chamber of Commerce. These associations will help connect businesses, encourage trade and create opportunities for buyers and suppliers to meet and work together. Overall, the event is anticipated to build strong business networks, support entrepreneurs, create cross-border partnerships and showcase Malaysia's homegrown products that strengthen the country's trade and business ecosystem.
