KUCHING (Aug 25): Affin Bank Berhad is ready to assist business communities, particularly the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) nationwide, said Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali.
The bank’s group president and chief executive officer said this is part of the institution’s initiative to support the SMEs through business financing and capital funding.
“SMEs are a high-risk segment in the market, and we can support those involved in this industry in various ways, including financing their projects and capital expenditures,” he said.
“Additionally, the SME industry players can utilise our revenue collection services via our branches’ terminals using the automated teller machines (ATM),” he told the press.
Among the topics shared during the networking session with the press here today were on Affin’s products and services, future undertakings and achievements.
According to Wan Razly, Affin Bank Berhad through AFFINMAX, its corporate internet banking platform, had received the ‘2024 Malaysia Domestic Cash Management Bank of The Year Award’ during an award presentation ceremony in Singapore last July.
With wholesale banking services being one of the segments that strengthened its brand, he projected a positive outlook for Affin Bank Berhad as it moved towards becoming a major player in the banking industry.
He also expressed his confidence that the 5,500 employees of Affin Bank Berhad nationwide would continue to dedicate their energy and expertise in maintaining the banking institution’s legacy of excellence.
