TikTok Shop gears up to make this years Hari Raya celebration special for its users by offering in-app and in-person experiences from March 25 until April 4.

The TikTok Shop BazarRaya 2024 offers exclusive discounts, creator collaborations as well as the debut of TikTok Shop’s Mobile Truck.

“Users also stand a chance to win exclusive gold bracelets worth more than RM5,000 when they participate in the #TikTokShopBazarRaya2024 challenge by simply creating a Raya-themed video,” it said in a statement today.

Adding to the excitement, users can also catch TikTok Shop’s ambassadors Khairul Aming and Nelysa Norazlan hosting live sessions, showcasing their talents and enhancing overall experience.

Besides that, TikTok Shop will also be a part of Festival Ramadan Putrajaya, Malaysia’s largest Ramadan festival that features 500 vendors, in collaboration with Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPJ) from March 29 to April 10.

TikTok Shop’s presence in Festival Ramadan Putrajaya includes over 70 participating sellers and more then 100 hours of live sessions, highlighting local products while encouraging digital adoption among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Elevating the festivities, TikTok Shop’s Mobile Truck which will be situated at Central Market from March 22 until March 24 as well as at Lot 10 entrance, March 29 until March 31, offers live streaming showcases, meet-and-greet sessions and exclusive promotions to visitors.

The Mobile Truck also offer interactive activities, exclusive merchandise and surprises from local brands like ZUS Coffee, HausBoom and Bulan Bintang Fashion.

In addition, Maybank Visa which joins as the official banking partner will be offering a limited-time promotion of 10 per cent discount at 4 pm, every Mobile Truck days for users using Maybank Visa Card on TikTok Shop.

Visa country manager for Malaysia Ng Kong Boon expressed delight in partnering with TikTok Shop and Maybank to enhance the Raya experience for cardholders, promoting the convenience and security of digital payments.

“We hope customers who visit TikTok Shop make the best of these offers while enjoying the speed, convenience, and security of digital payments using Maybank Visa cards,” he said in the statement today.

Apart from that, the leading destination for short-form mobile video also consolidates its commitment towards promoting homegrown brands through initiatives like #JOMLokal on TikTok Shop where 96 per cent of the businesses are local.

Through live streaming events and partnerships with media outlets like TV3 Media Prima, TikTok Shop aims to boost visibility for local sellers and make Raya a joyous occasion for everyone.
