WINNING gold for the Putra Aria Brands Award in the e-commerce category has firmly established Lalamove as the most preferred on-demand delivery platform in the country.

This accomplishment reflects its unwavering commitment to crafting a brand that resonates with Malaysians and integrates seamlessly into their everyday lives.

Notably, this year's triumph surpasses the company’s 2022 silver award win in the same category.

The attainment of the gold award in 2023 further highlights Lalamove's dedication to business digitalisation, particularly through its ongoing collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Corporation Enterprise (MDEC).

As Lalamove increases its efforts to empower SMEs, MDEC extends an invitation for Lalamove to become one of its digital partners under the Call for Partnership Programme (CFP), aiming to promote business digitalisation among SMEs.

“This strategic partnership with MDEC adds depth to their mission of providing SMEs with cost-effective business solutions and championing business digitalisation,” according to Lalamove Malaysia managing director Jane Teh.

She emphasises that the partnership fosters a supportive ecosystem within Lalamove and its business account users, contributing to broader economic development.

Teh affirms, “Together, we are committed to contributing to the growth and success of businesses within the Malaysian landscape.”

Highlighting a success story, Jemz Group, a creative agency in Cheras, experienced a significant transformation in its daily operations when the company became incentive recipients of MDEC's CFP programme.

“Previously, our internal fleet costs amounted to RM4,500, this includes employee salaries, overtime costs and vehicle operation expenses,” shares Jemz Group managing director Jemizan Abu Bakar.

“However, with Lalamove, we’ve managed to save RM3,000. Now, our fleet expenses are under RM1,000, enabling us to achieve maximum delivery efficiency.”

Facing its largest project to date, involving daily e-commerce deliveries for 90 consecutive days, Jemz Group turned to Lalamove for a reliable on-demand delivery service.

Jemizan says Lalamove delivers every order punctually and has received accolades from stakeholders.

He commends Lalamove’s efforts, stating, "For 90 days of delivery, consistency and efficiency like no other are required, and this is what Lalamove delivered to us."

MDEC director Redzwan Abdul Rahim also expresses the importance of more SMEs to embrace platforms like Lalamove to streamline their business logistics and enhance overall operational efficiency.

He highlights that utilising such platforms enables SMEs to accomplish more deliveries in less time, ultimately boosting productivity.

Teh adds that Lalamove provides more than just swift business logistics; the digital tools on Its platform generates valuable data insights for informed decision-making.

“By embracing our on-demand delivery service, SMEs can respond more efficiently to their business logistics needs and stay ahead of competitors in this rapidly evolving business landscape,” she says.
