KUALA LUMPUR: The Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) has vowed to fight corruption for sustainable growth in the business industry.
Together with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the KCCCI held an MACC Anti-Corruption Forum yesterday, attended by 53 chamber members from small and medium enterprises and also multinational companies.
In a statement today, MACC said among the forum panellists involved include Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission senior director (special operation) Datuk Tan Kang Sai, former Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission advisory board member Datuk David Chua Kok Tee, Kedah MACC deputy director Wong Chiew Hoong, KCCCI counsel member Datuk Lee Kim Meow and Asia e University senior lecturer Dr Wong Hong Chau.
KCCCI chairman Datuk Jeffrey Tan in his speech said the organisation of the forum was a meaningful collaboration between the KCCCI and MACC.
"All KCCCI members present also expressed their commitment to fight corruption by signing the corruption-free pledge."
