SINGAPOREAN fintech, Qashier Pte Ltd, has launched its latest smart point-of-sale (POS) terminal, QashierXS in Malaysia.

Weighing less than 500g, the terminal enables users to integrate all payment methods (cash, credit cards, ewallets and wireless payment) and POS software in a single form, the first of its kind here.

This system is designed to make small and medium enterprises (SMEs) easily adopt their operations, boosting digitisation.

According to Qashier co-founder and CEO Christopher Choo (left), he felt excited to bring QashierXS to Malaysian SMEs.

“Qashier provides the technology and tools commonly used by large corporations and makes it affordable and accessible to small merchants, empowering them to thrive in today’s digital economy,” he said in a press release.

Merchants are also able to manage their sales data QR ordering, manage inventory, staff and customer relations.

On the other hand, Qashier Malaysia Head of Solutions Alex Leong took pride in helping businesses big or small.

“This forms the basis of our purpose — to empower Malaysian SMEs to build a thriving business in today’s new economy,” he added.
