BUSINESSES and corporations require a single, integrated cyber security platform to protect their digital assets and information to advance more quickly in line with the accelerating pace of technological development.
Trend Micro Malaysia and Nascent Countries MD Goh Chee Hoh said there is an urgent need for enterprises to revisit cybersecurity measures and strategies especially in mitigating the risk of protecting their digital assets.
“Users and businesses are always on the move and changing. Similarly, businesses need to enhance their security especially when most are vulnerable to cyber-attack,” he said during the “Building Cyber-Resilience to Manage Growing Digital Attack Surfaces in Malaysia” media briefing yesterday.
Meanwhile, Trend Micro South-East Asia and India VP Nilesh Jain said resilient cyber security also acts as the business enabler that will influence business growth.
“A cutting-edge technology will help businesses discover the ever-changing attack surface, assess and prioritise the most pressing risks and vulnerabilities, and subsequently mitigate them,” he said.
He added that by adopting the right solutions, business leaders in Malaysia can drive their business forward, without having to worry about security, cut costs, human labour and focus more on overall efficiency.
According to Micro Trend’s recent “Global Risk Survey”, 82% of Malaysia’s organisations are concerned about the growing cyber-attack and they are struggling to define and secure a cyber-attack surface.
“In most cases, enterprises come forward when it is too late and their systems have been badly attacked,” Nilesh added.
Trend Micro targets to cater to all customers from the largest industrial companies to midsize firms who are concerned about security although with a minimal budget.
In enhancing its services and offerings, Trend Micro also formalised a partnership with Vision One SOC-as-Service Partner, Life Tech Group to deliver a dedicated end for businesses in Malaysia.
This collaboration draws both companies’ security capabilities, identifies organisations’ pain points and develops a robust strategy for enhanced cyber resilience.
Micro Trend yesterday also kicked off a major step and launched its most advanced unified cybersecurity platform available for businesses in Malaysia.
“Often time to build a digital attack surface is massive, complex and the cycle is constantly evolving. Therefore, Trend Micro One unified cyber security platform will simplify it for businesses,” said Goh.
The platform will provide a safer environment, and 24/7 monitoring which includes automation action done by cyber security professionals and an empowered security team.
“Through these cloud-based solutions, we connect all the dots, identify and block the unauthorised access into the system and consolidate them in real-time for more tech hygiene in a company,” Nilesh added.
